It is now officially 2010, time to get it into gear.  I messed aroung during the Holidays in a sugar induced haze; well those days are over.  I have postponed, procrastinated, and lazed until I can't stand myself.  Now I am sure I'm not the only one, and as you read this you're thinking... and?.
Does that mean I'm normal or generally lazy like everyone else. Don't know.  But I know this, I have to let it go and start the new year with a grip on reality.  I have no intention of making grand resolutions that will never be kept. That's my point, I know what I am capable of and what I can generally accomplish.  So here we go:
This year I will spend less time on Twitter and Facebook and more time writing something that needs to be written and in more that 140 characters.  I write short stories but the ain't that short!
I will get going on All my creative projects; because, this could be the last year that I can get them done, who knows. Ah, you think that is Winter depression speaking, or an old Lady feeling sorry for herself, but no, that is being realistic.  I just turned 67 so I don't have more than 20 or 30 years left, and I am VERY slow in finishing things.
I will try to talk less and listen more, we'll see how well that one comes out.
I will try to appreciate the people around me, however much they irritate the crap out of me
I will try to see the good in All my fellow inmates here at the 50 and Better Senior apt. complex.
I will try to see Men as human beings too. actually it's only the Old farts I have a problem with.
I will try to do more that just sit around on my asset.
O.K. I think that's enough resolutions to break this week.
Good luck to each and every one of you in your endeavors...yea right...
